Monday, September 21 The Big Life, In Search of 10,000 Birds with Peter Kaestner, World Record holder for the biggest life list. With more than 10,000 birds on his life list, Peter has more than 10,000 stories. Hear some of the highlights during a program you won’t want to miss! See his bio in this newsletter.

Monday, October 19 Monarch Butterflies with Erin Parker. Lake St. Clair Metropark. Every fall monarch butterflies migrate from Michigan all the way to Mexico, a place their parents and grandparents never visited. Learn more about this amazing animal as Erin Parker returns to Grosse Pointe Audubon with another entertaining and informative presentation.

Monday, November 16 To Be Determined. We have several presenters committed for presentation between November and April, but the exact dates are not yet settled. Details will be emailed to you as we finalize the schedule.

Here is the field trip schedule for the fall:

Saturday, September 26. Lake Erie Metropark. Join us as we stop by the Hawkwatch site to see what raptors are migrating though the park. We will also walk the trails looking for fall warblers and other migrants.
